View our ProRodeo page for details on the event and schedule. Every ProRodeo event takes place every night in this order: Bareback Riding, Steer Wrestling, Mutton Bustin’, Team Roping, Breakaway Roping, Saddle Bronc Riding, Tie-Down Roping, Barrel Racing, and Bull Riding. The ProRodeo begins at 7 p.m. Monday – Saturday, and 3 p.m. on Sundays. The ProRodeo lasts about an hour and 45 minutes and then we move into the concert.

Rodeo Austin welcomes junior livestock exhibitors and horse show exhibitors to the annual Fair and Rodeo typically held in March. On average more than 9,000 exhibitors compete to enhance their agricultural education. Rodeo Austin is proud to provide these opportunities for youth to succeed.

Public parking is $20 per vehicle cash or credit card onsite, or now for purchase in advance online. Public parking is accessible through GATE 3 and GATE 4, on Decker Lake Road. Permits are required for GATE 1 and GATE 2, on Decker Lane. Rideshare patrons, livestock show exhibitors, and all buses please use GATE 1. We request all buses notify Rodeo Austin 24-hours in advance of your arrival at 512-919-3000.

Lost items will take 24+ hours to be returned to the office and processed. Please fill out this form with a description of your lost item. Lost items will be held 90 days after the completion of Rodeo Austin and then appropriately disposed of.

Please check the surrounding area if you have lost something while still on the grounds (i.e. if you were in the show barn, check with the show barn office. If you were at carnival, check with carnival guest services).

For items lost at Gala, please contact Palmer Event Center.

For items lost at Cowboy Breakfast, please contact The Long Center.

For items lost at Bulls in the Ballpark, please contact Dell Diamond.

Commercial photography, videography, and filming are often conducted at Rodeo Austin. By entering the premises and/or purchasing an admission ticket, you consent to video recording and photography of your likeness and its/their release, publication, or reproduction that Rodeo Austin, and those acting pursuant to its authority, deem appropriate, including promotional, advertising, or public relations efforts.

By entering the premises and/or purchasing an admission ticket, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with use of these materials in any form, as well as any right to inspect, review, or approve any photo or video recording taken by Rodeo Austin in connection to the event.

Use or reproduction of photography, film, or video for commercial purposes is prohibited without written consent from Rodeo Austin. Professional photography, videography, or filming for personal use or professional use is prohibited without prior written approval.

Scholarship Recipients are selected based on financial need, academic achievement and community involvement. Rodeo Austin establishes the selection criteria, then the partnering educational institutions make the specific student selections each year. To be considered for a Rodeo Austin Scholarship, you must be attending one of the partnering colleges or universities or have participated in 4-H or FFA programs.
