This contemporary luxury home designed by renowned architect Peter Gluck in 2005, has an interesting history on the Austin market. In 2015, the original owners, who commissioned the house from Gluck, listed it for an unknown price, hoping to fetch something in the realm of $20 million, according to original broker Laura Gottesman.

The house was still listed by Gottesman Residential Real Estate in September 2016, asking $14.9 million. It was taken off the market at the end of last year and just reappeared, at the same asking price, on January 9—the only apparent difference being that the owners are now represented by one of the other main luxury residential real estate firms in town, Moreland Properties.

Whatever the case, the essential aspects of the house remain the same. It sits on approximately four acres in West Lake Hills and is designed to maximize views, especially from its top floor.

The 10,563-square-foot home has seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms (plus two half-bathrooms, a detached two-bedroom guesthouse, and, of course, a pool, spa, and many other high-end amenities.
