Product Description

Adds softness to hard mattresses and rejuvenates old mattresses. Simply lies on top of your current mattress and is held in place under your fitted sheet. Enjoy a great night’s sleep and wake up well rested and energized. Dimensions and other specifications are listed at the top of the product page. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR MEASUREMENTS BEFORE ORDERING, as featherbeds are bulky and expensive to return and are subject to a restocking fee. Featherbeds may have a slight odor initially. These are a natural product and although vacuum packing is great for shipping, it does not allow the featherbed to fully breathe and expand. A short period of fluffing and airing out may be required. Also keep in mind featherbeds are not rigid like a traditional mattress. The will compress, and in doing so, will not retain their full height. This is normal and is required to provide a soft, pillow-top feel. The 95% goose feather, 5% goose down fill will provide weight and support. Feathers can sometimes shift and poke through on occasion. Continued use and periodic fluffing will help settle the fill. A featherbed cover may also be used as an extra layer of protection if desired. We have been a top featherbed seller for years and are 100% confident our products are accurately described. Very Soft and Smooth - You Won't Want to Leave your Bed!

This feather bed is amazing. I was ultimately desiring to give my own bed that 5-star luxurious hotel feeling, every night. I wanted to get down everything - pillows, comforter and a feather bed.

At first, I was skeptical of this feather bed because of the price. Department stores and even other discount retailers have these types of feather beds for several hundred dollars. But, I couldn't be more happy with this purchase. It is soft, and my body definitely just sinks into my bed. I do not want to get up in the morning now, or really anytime I'm in my bed. I sleep great, and that's the most important part.

However, it's not perfect. There are feathers inside of this thing! You will feel them from time to time. You can eliminate or reduce this feeling by ensuring you have a good feather bed cover and sheets.

Also, it does need to be fluffed to retain it's awesome softness.You will notice this right out of the box, which they've managed to cramp this thing into. Lay it out on your bed, and let it rise for a couple of hours. On bed sheet changing day, I take my sheets off, turn this thing over, and give it a few good shakes and fluffings. Once I put my sheets back on, it's as good as new. If you're super type-A, you may want to do this every few days. If you're super rich, have your servants do it every day. You'll be happy you did.

It will smell for a little bit once it's out of the box. It's down. It's normal. It will go away. You'll love the bed.

I have used natural featherbedding for years. Some of them were better than others. After my prior one fell apart (and covered the entire room with feathers, which I am still finding everywhere) I started researching options to buy a new one. Ordered this one but was a little worried given some of the other reviews. Many people seem to complain that it is not soft, that it is not fluffy, that feathers come out. I guess it is hard to tell what it is when you do not know how people compare their experience. Franklin, I am a little surprised because in my eyes the only way someone can be disappointed in this one is if they have used the real ALL down (no feathers) featherbed, but they should also know that such thing coasts no less than several thousand dollars. For its class and price, this product is wonderful. It is very thick and soft, and the fabric is good quality. My only complain is that it does not have anything to keep it attached to the bed, so after 2-3 nights it starts moving off the bed together with the sheet. I solved the problem by using 2 sheets - one for the mattress and one for the featherbed, so I can easily adjust it back to where I want it to be. Overall, I am very very happy with it and would wholeheartedly recommend it.

I have never written a review before, but I loved this product so much I just had to recommend it. I have scoliosis as well as bursitis in my hip. We have a fairly new mattress, however I thought that getting a firm one for my back would help and lets just say I have been sleeping on our couch for the last year! We went around to different furniture stores in search of a TempurPedic mattress. They were comfortable but very expensive. Before we went that route, my husband and I researched featherbeds. I always make sure to read the reviews but it's difficult to choose when people have mixed opinions of the product. I was leery about purchasing this but I really wanted to try out the 5''. Still less expensive than a TempurPedic bed so it couldn't hurt to try. When we received it and took it out of the bag, I did notice the smell but after a couple of hours it was gone. You have to fluff it out and let it sit for a while so that it can rise to the 5 inches. We tried it out the day it was delivered and let me tell you, that was the best nights sleep I had in I don't know how long. My neck and shoulders were not stiff, nor did my back or hip hurt. I didn't toss and turn or wake up throughout the night. This featherbed is amazing!!!! I definitely recommend going with the 5 inch. I would have to say that only thing that I don't care for is that I have to fluff it on a weekly basis so it gets that full look that I desire for my bed. Other than that, it is great. I plan on purchasing two more for my girls beds.

It's pretty similar to other featherbeds that I have owned. The fact that this one is a lot thicker than most does help to keep the matting down minimal, but I still fluff this topper up weekly when I wash my bedsheets. Your body will compress it, causing it to lose some of its plushness.

Fluffing this topper reminds me a lot of that exercise that one may see people doing at the gym with the two black ropes that they fling up and down for several minutes for a cardio workout. It definitely gets your heart rate up! I am in pretty okay shape, but I would imagine someone with not much upper body strength or a bad heart not being too thrilled at maintaining this topper. It is not light. I would highly recommend getting a memory foam mattress topper instead of one of these, if weekly maintenance will be an issue for you.

Comfort-wise, it does feel good. I do feel the occasional quill poking out. because it is probably oriented out towards the cotton surface, so I have to shake the topper a little to get the feather aiming more flat. Other than that, it feels fine. No feathers have come through as far as I know, but I also have a cotton topper protector over it, and I haven't removed that yet to see if feathers have actually come out. When I do, I will update my review.
